    No offence meant to the poster, but definitely wouldn't use either of those as labelling your kids clothes as rags or "ragz" rather would not be a good thing to do.

    Interesting Idea's above, there are some important pointers which should affect your decision:

    1. People need to be able to spell your brand easily, take for example Mr. Boots example: Zero-8. This could be spelt:08, 0-8, Zero Eight, 0-Eight, ZeroAte, 0ate, etc etc. It's really important that your customers can find your online, suppliers know where in the filing cabinet you'll be etc.

    2. Make sure your name is VERY unique unless your going to start out as the domination player. For example your suggestion of "Scallywags" is the same as a brand I already stock in one of my stores, it's a dog food! Pic your battles carefully when starting out, and don't end up in one by accident, it's costly

    3. Don't leave people wondering what you do.
