Zetor 6945 your views

    Need an oul yoke for round bales and general tippin about lads, whats your views on these oul zetors? any good or a pile a hassle??

    Have a Zetor myself. That aul yoke would do your job grand.
    Basic technology. Little to go wrong. Easy to fix.

    If I were you, I would diuble check that the brakes are in good nick. Master and salve cylinders are dodgy on old Zetors, but not expensive or difficukt to replace.

    The other thing to double check, is the lift. Seals inside the lift can be a problem. Put a good heavy silage bale on the back of her. Lift up nearly all the way. Hop off and observe does the lift drop down anything up to say 10 inches or so, and then suddenly lift back up to the original position yo set it at. If it does that, you can bank of €50 parts cost plus 2 good days of labour to take off the cover and get at the seals.

    I was looking at that tractor there on donedeal alright, looks very clean for an old zetor, most of them at that age are wrecked, seems like good value to me. Probably not the most mechanically reliable in the world, but if it hasn't been abused then it would be fine. 4wd a big plus
