    Hey there,
This isn't exactly creative writing but may be of interest to some people here

Option 1) - Get paid per article
    __________________________
I'm looking for a provider of 10-20 good quality 500 word articles per week. Topics could include anything that are searched for on the internet - weight loss, holiday destinations, training dogs etc. Since subject matter varies, the ability to quickly research the topics using the internet is crucial.

Articles must be well-researched, well-written, 100% original and interesting to read.

Compensation depends on your skill level but as a guideline, I'm looking to pay between €4 - €7 per article.

    Option 2) - Joint Venture
    __________________________
Firstly I'll explain what i do with these articles so you'll understand how a joint venture would work. I use these articles, get them to the first page of google about 40-50% of the time within 6-8 weeks. Once there, I sell advertising on the pages and earn anything from approximately 10 cent - €20 per month per article - sometimes more. Some of the articles will yield hundreds in profits over a two to three year period. Obviously, this is a simplified version of the process but you get the idea.

The joint venture would only work for me if writer:
    1) Can dedicate a minimum of 10 hours a week to writing
    2) Is willing to learn how to write the aricles so that they are easier to promote and easier to convert to sales
    3) Can defer immediate payment in exchange for long-term income
    4) Saves me the hassle of proofreading, chasing people for articles that were promised by a certain deadline, finding new dependable writers etc.

Finally, I know my own writing is far from perfect but we all have our own skills ;)

Anyone interested please mail me dec @ ireland . com to discuss things further.

    Thanks for looking.

€4 for 500 words of quality writing is insultingly low, don't you think? It's about 1/10th of minimum wage by my reckoning.

Yes, it is low. These articles don't have to be masterpieces though. Information is freely available on the internet so the research phase should take no more than ten minutes - the writing, maybe a further twenty to thirty minutes.

On the internet, with global competition and with the likes of associatedcontent.com paying $2.50 to $4.00 per article, it's getting tougher to compete.

The max i'd pay would be €10 per article and that would be for matierial worth bookmarking.

You're right though, it isn't for everyone but I'm sure some would appreicate the extra income.

    Id' rather write for nothing.

That amount is derisory, and an insult. If you want people to write quality work for you, pay them for it. Writing is a job, Writerpoint, a means for people to earn a living, and you are undercutting people who write as a profession.
I'm sure people would appreciate the extra income a hell of a lot less than you'd like the cheap labour. You've come on here because you know there are inexperienced writer's who would write simply to see something published. And you are taking advantage of that.

    Paid gig, my ass.
