Driver for dvd/cd rom drive keeps uninstalling. Why?

I have a windows 7 ultimate acer 5920 laptop and driver for dvd/cd rom keeps uninstalling. It happens all the time. Even during burning of a cd. I have a lot of cd's on the bin cos of it Grrr:mad:. I go to device manager and scan for hardware changes and this installs it back. But it keeps disappearing. How can i stop his…

Seems to be a common problem with Acer laptops and Windows 7.

Search google for...............windows 7 ultimate acer 5920 laptop and driver for dvd/cd rom keeps uninstalling

You'll get plenty of search results and hopefully a fix for your problem
