I have just noticed on my payslip that the PPS number listed is incorrect so I checked my P60 given to me by my employer and the PPS number is same as payslip which is incorrect, what are the implications for this or what do I do, I have been employed with this company for over a year now, just wondering if it would have been incorrect all this time, as far as I can remember they would have been given my P45 from previous employer which had my correct PPS number, also checked the tax certs from revenue for last few years and they have correct PPS number on them??

First port of call should be the revenue website, register yourself on
    https://www.revenue.ie/selfservice/enterRegistrationDetails.faces
and once you get logged in request a P21 balancing statement for the past 5 years.
IF it comes back saying you paid no tax last year then notify your employer that they have the wrong number and ring the revenue and explain the situation to them as well.
If the 'wrong' PPS number is a valid PPS number then they should have records of payments on it and should be able to refund them to your employer who can then pay them back into your number.
