    Hi
I'm looking to change my car shortly. I have a Mondeo currently but looking to go to at a minimum of a 5 seater. Have 2 kids in car seats and its not too comfy with Grandparent in the car with us.

Have looked at the S-Max but struggling with the thoughts of moving to a people carrier.

I would welcome any suggestions. Thanks

Seat Altea XL was good value when we bought -just before VRT drop -bummer !Have 1.4L petrol slug when we could now have TDi for same money and less road tax!Nice big cabin but still 5 seater ...7 seater is a whole different ball game !Expensive!

S-Max drives and handles more like a car than a MPV, definately would not discard it.

Another one to look at maybe is the Nissan Qashqai (5 seater) or Qashqai +2 (7 seater).

Other than that I would look at maybe a large estate like a Volvo V70, Audi A6, BMW 5 Series or Merc E Class.

Hyundai Santa Fe. Great car, great ride and a 5 year warranty.

5 year Hyundai warranty in the UK, 3 here.
New Kia Sorento gets 7 years and is equally as nice as the Santa Fe (almost identical really)

Slightly off topic but I thought this was the new Sorento:

Looks more like the new Lexus RX than the Santa Fe imo.

That is it! It's just a different colour in my post :D

I think the problem is the Lexus like a Kia rather than the other way around!
