Laptop rebuild for the Folks - XP SP3

    Stage 1:

Checking for updates for your PC ~30 mins.

    Stage 2:

    Preparing to download ~30 mins.

    Stage 3:

Downloading - so slow it may as well be mins.

    - Am doing this a while; This is new to me - Anyone noticed similar? Have they moved the XP Update Servers to Kazakhstan since its a legacy OS?

I've found XP & Vista to be slow enough recently but 7 to be fine, maybe they're moving server load to cater for 7.
