    Hi.

We've a brand new band started in Co.Monaghan and we're looking to start gigging.

    Here's the deal.

We book and organise a gig in Monaghan Town where we play support and you headline. We'll sort posters, PA, venue etc.

In return you do the same for us in your hometown.
(We'll be quite happy with support slots till we knock the cobwebs off)

    Any takers?

It might be a good idea to put down your genre and age range just so people have an idea what to expect.

    True, good point. Aged 22 - 29.

Some rough and ready practice sessions on youtube channel mckenna07pat

    Checkout Predator, Darwin and Guinness.

Styles: Rock, Folk and (I didn't say this, it was suggested to us) brit-pop.

(even if you don't want a gig feedback is appreciated)

    Hi,

This sounds like a great idea to me, I'm in a band in Ennis, Co. Clare called The CMC. I suppose you might say we're mainly rock and funk in genre. We're a 5-piece (drummer, bassist, lead guitarist, guitarist/vocalist, keyboardist/saxophonist).

I haven't spoken to all of the lads yet but I'd be fairly confident that we'd be interested in this idea.

Email me at cocoshmoco@hotmail.com if you wanna chat about it.

    Cillian

At an ancient 29 years I dont mean to sound like an old fogey but this is how we used to do things back in the day. Its nice to know in this digital age that common sense and good ideas can still prevail. Were still looking for a singer but when we have one Id happily take you up on the offer. Best of luck with it friend.

Mods, any chance of making a stickey for bands looking to do swaps around the country actually. Always a nightmare to try and organise a gig in a different city and worries about filling the place etc so could come in very handy.
