    Hi All.

Don't know that this is the right place on the forum to ask the question but I can't find anywhere else and I'm REALLY stuck...

I'm using excel 2007 and I'm trying to get cells to change color but I can't figure out what forumla to use in the conditional formatting section.

What I want to convert to a proper excel formula is:
    • if the cell date is less than or equal to 28days PASSED today turn cell red
    • if the cell date is less than or equal to 56 days PASSED today turn cell amber
    • if the cell date is greater than or equal to 57 days PASSED today leave cell white.
if anyone can help i'd really appreciate it. i'm tearing my hair out and no other specialist forms are much help.

    D

    use conditional formatting
in excel 2007 conditional formatting is not on the toolbar as default

Right click on the toolbar and 'customize quick access toolbar'
find 'conditional formatting in all commands and add this to your quick access toolbar

Highlight the cells you want to apply your formula to,
Then select the conditional formatting from the toolbar and you can set the colour of the cell to change based on your formula
This should do the trick ;)
