Comedian who came to mass recognition through his role on They Think Its All Over. Quit the show because of chronic backpain caused by severe arthritis.
His comedy club went bust in 2007 but he's still performing onstage. Convicted of criminal damage in 2009.

What really sucks is the way they just killed her off right at the start of Alien 3. Nothing else, just a dead kid and a puking robot. Never sat well with me.

The only reason that guy got a hit in the first place was because his old man "Chip" Hawkes was in The Tremeloes (equally dire contributors to the music scene). I think that his dad probably bought enough records to get him in the charts, but then gave it up as a bad job after that, consigning his son to well-deserved obscurity.
