i know that the first lot of people that que up for concerts at the O2 get into the ring (i.e. your in touching distance of the artist). Does anyone know how many that are queing to get in actually get into the ring. and secondly how early would you roughly ave to start queing to be at the front of the que (i.e. 2/3 hours before the show?!?)

    Regards
    Seánie

When I saw muse in the O2 I got into the pit, firstly the pit holds about 1,000 I'd say, (just an estimate though, could be wrong), secondly, when I saw them in the O2 I only queued about 45 mins before the doors opened, I think the doors opened at half six so I queued from about 5:45 and got a pit band but that was quite lucky though, people queue from like 11:00 onwards for hours to get into the pit, I did for muse in Marlay park a few years ago so maybe aim to be there a few hours before the doors open. However sometimes there isn't a pit, there was no pit for depeche mode last December. When I was going to muse and depeche mode I called up the O2 to ask if there was a pit and if so what time the pit bands were being given out at and the people on the phone never seem to know, you always end up hearing different stories, every concert I've been to is the same in this regard, no one knows what the deal is regarding the pit but generally a few hours before the doors open should get you a pit band. Hope this helps :)
