Need a hand fellas!

Just modded my megadrive and I need to test out the region locks, Booted up a PAL Street Fighter 2 in JAP mode and it gave me the region lock, so things look good.

I know streets of rage 1/2 will boot up as Bare Knuckle in Jap mode but I dont have either of the 2 games

So is there any other region locked games I can test it out on?

Best thing for you to do is just to go through all your PAL carts and boot them up in NTSC 60hz Jap mode.

It really is hit and miss. Some that you think wouldn't have lock out do, and then others don't. I deal with this a lot playing games on my Nomad.

Off the top of my head the following games are locked out -

Ranger X
Robocop versus the Terminator
Gunstar Heroes
Sonic 3
Dune 2 (I think)
...
I have now drawn a blank. But yeah, there are many.

Anyway, you can just boot them up in 50hz PAL and then once it gets passed the main screen where the check is, switch to 60hz for full screen glory.

Edit - here's a list. It applies to the Sega Genesis but I bet you every locked out game there is locked out PAL too -

Thanks, o1s1n, just gave ranger x and robocop vs terminator, they boot up and then dont boot up in JAP 60Hz so i think im after doing the job right
