This Manchester Irish boy is dying to get a few fights in Ireland.

A really nice guy and with the guidance of Ricky Hatton, Bob Shannon and Lee Beard he just might come out of his shell. He is fighting on Thursday and I will keep up all updated on his progress but here are a few shots I took from him last fight.

You might be right on that one: http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=25604

He's doing pretty well for a guy with little amature experience and would certainly strengthen the pool of Irish fighters. Still has an awful lot to learn though as he is so young and inexperienced but has a good team around him.

Drink Up, yeah he could suffer with cuts. But I was literally a couple of feet from his corner and although he cut he didnt seem to be a "bleeder"

Joe, he is so nervous. He was supposed to have a 4 rounder against the fella Dilganmani fought that fight and asked me what I thought about the change and I told him that he was on with a tougher fighter and possibly robbed of his first stoppage but the 6 rounder would suit him because he takes a few to settle down. He needs to be brough on VERY slowly.

Then feed him Gavin Prunty!!!!! ;)

Yeah Maher-Prunty is gonna be Mayweather-Pacquaioesque!!

Beard and Hattons split. Beard is training Juan Guzman, who I am meeting tomorrow and Bob Shannon is training Maher.

    Nice one!!!!!

Wasn't sure if Hatton-Beard parted ways or if Hatton just stopped using him himself but had him working with his stable of fighters. Heard he was training Guzman alright.
