The wording of the ad, lack of started mileage, and that steering wheel cover are all conspiring to give me the yips. I'd check it out very carefully if you're thinking of going ahead.

It has an 80bhp engine which is a horrible drive and has to be flogged to death. Try finding a 122bhp, 140bhp or even a 170bhp one if you really want a gt sport spec golf. Also wondering why he has all extras on the ad as the only extra I can see is the centre arm rest.

I'm assuming it's the bottom of the range 80bhp model. They have a serious lack of power and think the car needs at least the 122bhp TSI. For me its a case of all show and no go. Better off with a standard highline version thats not pretending to be something it's not. That said they are reasonably well equipped and well put together.

That 1.4 litre 80bhp engine is also not the most reliable, neither is the gearbox.

It doesn't have ''all extras'' like the ad says, no climate, no mfsw, no sunroof, no winterpack, no leather steering wheel. I had cars being misadvertised like that. All it has is alloys, sports seats and GT trim. Rest is standard

In Irish terms that's a fully loaded car :D i hate that term 'fully loaded' it only seems to appear on ads for poverty spec golfs and Audi A4's :D

The GT Sport replaced the sportline. It's different again to the GT's with 170 brake. The only extras on that is the arm rest and (i think) the fogs.

TSi is a really nice engine. I'd search out one of those if it was me.

    That steering wheel cover...shudder
