Bass player wanted

Evening all,

Guitarist, drummer and singer having a jam on thurday evening near the south circular road in south dublin, looking for a bassist to pop down for a session.

we've played together 3 times before, just banged out some covers and want to start writing some originals now so it would be a good time to get on board!

We're all easy going and up for a laugh, in our 20's but age isnt really a factor! Not sure what the band is going to sound like yet as our influences are wide ranging but the songs we've been covering are a few kings of leon, vampire weekend, radiohead, etc etc

Any takers for thursday? No pressure, just come down and play a few songs and see what happens!

Hi Judas, everything we know is in the 1st post really.

Basically the band has a blank canvas, our influences are wide so who knows what were going to sound like, if a bassist came onboard now he would have just as much influence as the rest of us.

From the small things we've written so far id say they inclue a bit of rock, a dash of blues, maybe a bit of soul, some mainstream feel too. As the guitarist, i try write riffs that are catchy, something that wold stick in your head!

If youd be interested in coming down thursday PM me with your info and influences etc, any clips of you and your number and i'll get back to ya!

We've had lots of PMs and people cant make it down for one reason or another so if anyone fancies getting onboard with a group who are gonna write some music and have some fun along the way then now is your chance!!!

We only practice once a week so its not a huge commitment!

Was gonna ask ya man but arent thursdays a problem for you? We usually do thursdays but just this week its tuesday instead?

Yeh man theres probably no point I thought u were moving from thursday 2 tuesday on a permanent basis.

And as you've come HERE and asked, i thought i'd give an honest opinion. The music is brutal. On "Even Now" i think it was, the singer sounds in pain. It actually sounds spacifically like appendix problems. The 1st song was a mess.

But apart from those 2 songs i was impressed!
