Really don't like the Anglesea Stand for games. Might just watch this in the pub.

They must be fearing a pretty poor turn out for this...

Jaysus, you wouldn't even get Connacht stooping so low to put bums on seats...

Youd see Quins Saracens Wasps and Stade do it though. Good idea imo, a full stadium is better than a half full one.

Stooping? For the Leinster branch to do anything other than fill a stadium as much as possible is idiotic, whether by price, promotion or competition is irrelevant. Price is dictated by supply and demand. If demand goes down, while supply remains static, of course the price should go down.

Great initiative from the branch for a game that clearly is not in demand.

Stade only do it in the Stade de France, which if I'm not mistaken, has a slightly larger capacity than the RDS. They also only do it for big games, i.e. the ones they play in Stade de France.

You also don't see Connacht putting 15,000+ bums on seats with great regularity.

There are only 1,000 seats on sale and it's just a bit of a promotion for a game that falls bang in the middle of the 6N when no one cares about provincial rugby. It's a grand idea.

I think its great. And give another 1000 to schools maybe. there'll be 10,000 there with the season ticket holders, but lets fill the stadium, why the hell not?

It is not, there are two terraces in the Anglesea stand.

They're only for STH though aren't they? No tickets go on sale for them.

They also have a somewhat dodgy view thanks to that stand thing in the middle.

Yeah STH only, and the stand thing does block the view. Cheapest tickets in the house though, works out at about €17 per game.
