I had the old one (didnt know there was a v.2) and I used to record a metronome manually by holding it against the microphone. Low tech I know but it did the job. How much was the one you got?

wow that is low tech, there is a built in metronome, i think its on the last fader the rhythm track

There wasnt a metronome on the one I had so it was either that or play along to the horrendous rock beats. I got it about three years ago though so boss could have put a metronome on to them since then.
