    Hi guys,

Anybody reccomend a cheap insurance company? I haev tried all of the companies I know, I have been insured with Quinn and due for renewal on 17th.
I am 21 driving a 1.4 TSI 140bhp mark 5 golf and Quinn are the cheapest quote i can get at 1995euro. I have a full licence 2 years and a 3 year NCB, I cant get another quote under 2500, just seems a bit excessive!
    Any help is much appreciated!

I'm assuming you're male, and if you are, you have no real option except to age until you're 27. Males aged 18-26 are a high risk bracket for insurance claims so you'll pay accordingly. No way around it, only thing to do is ring any company you haven't tried yet, brokers etc. and hope for the best.

    At 21 on a 140bhp car €1995 is a bargain, when I was 21 I was paying €2800 on a 68 bhp fiesta!

Still feels like a lot, even if it is a bargain!
After some more trying, 123.ie gave me a quote of 1860 and Britton insurance 1636, hadnt tried Britton before but previously 123 were a lot more expensive! Few extra quid towards a rear bumper the same colour as the car! been looking all over for one of these, anybody know where to pick one up?

Dont Brittons policies come with a €4k excess though?

The excess was optional, I picked a 300euro excess and that was the price quoted!
