The Guinness Website

Has anyone ever had to log on to the official Guinness website? I've had to a bit recently to participate in the fantasy competition, and it annoys me that I have to continuously put my date of birth in upon entering the website, and then you are only granted acess if your dOB places you over 18. So they don't like u/18's entering their website but yet continue to sponsor the Senior Hurling Championship and the Senior Rugby Premiership in England, which are followed by hundreds of thousands of youngsters. What a bunch of hypocritical jerks...

In all seriousness though, there must be some law to it because they can't think that any child no matter what age or level of iq, couldn't get past it.

A whole four clicks of your mouse. You should find something legitimate to moan about.

Check out the websites of all alcoholic drinks.

Personally i don't have a problem with drink advertising, just seems a bit unneccessary to go through that date of birth stuff, if it is a law it's a completely meaningless gesture.

Yes that's another thing i forgot to mention, there's an option to 'remember the user' but it never remembers. JERKS.

Well first of all letting anyone U18...have access to promotional materials from Cigarette or alcohol companies will be a big no no.

Secondly any individual who is U18 that did not have the cop on to lie about their DOB when an ALCOHOL supplier asks for their age...really has no right to complain about it.

Do you walk up to the door of the night club and tell the bouncer your U18 even if you want to drink 7up your still not getting in.

It's an intelligence test for rugby fans. Well done, you've passed. You are now being considered for the board of Anglo Irish Bank.

But they do have access! They see it in media and on adverts everywhere. Anyway i wasn;t trying to get into a debate, i was just registering my annoyance.

Must be fun roaming boards all day looking for things you don't care about and posting mad funny comments. Is that how you got to 8,000 posts?
