Thinking of getting a new fireplace and fire...

    ...anyone got any recommendations? I prefer employing someone on recommendation rather than just picking up the golden pages and taking a chance.

    It will probably be a multi-fuel fire rather than electric or gas.

    My parents got a fire place of stacks and they were happy with them. They are based out the mountmellick road.

    My parents also got a new fireplace installed last week. After pricing fireplaces with different retailers around the county and asking for recommendations they went with Ballyroan Stoneworks who were good value compaired to a lot of places and did a great job.
