    Is there a seperate A4 Race?

    Where have Cycling Ireland put their Race Calander? It's gone totally from their website... Also will the race licence's be issued before Feb 28th?

    Doubt it, the Lacey cup is a handicap so the A4's will probably just get a couple of minutes start on the A3's. In previous years a C rider would get maybe a 5 minute start over the B group which would get 3 minutes over the A's.

    Lacey Cup will not have separate race for A4's unfortunately. It will be handicapped. Race distance is sightly over the 60km allowed for A4's at approx. 70km. irishcycling.com have an overall Leisure/Race,etc calendar. If licenses are not issued prior to race bring any confirmation you have that you have applied, i.e, email, cheque receipt and you might avoid having to take out a one day license but I will try and get further confirmation.

    The new calendar is on this page. It's labelled as Master Calendar Draft7. Not surprised you couldn't find it. The new website is as hard to navigate as the last one.

    Reply from Tralee CC;

    "there will be a prize for 1st Cat 4 over the line. Also note that our race is handicapped so the strongest riders, Cat 1, will be starting last."

    So, are many boardsies doing this race then? If so, what category will you be racing and have you any idea of what time handicap will be given each group?
