Not sure but there must be something specific as the sector as a whole is up about 1.0% with Iberia and up 5% and British Airways up 4% as the US gave tentative approval to the BA-American-Iberia alliance.

I read somewhere that Aer Lingus had a route from Dulles to Madrid in the pipeline with United beginning 03/10. I don't know if this alliance puts pressure on that route.

Anyone else holding here, How do you see sp trading out to summer? I feel we will get pullback to 0.66-0.68 range before next Legup.

Where do you get these figures?

What multiple does that put on the company? Or do you just pull these figures out of thin air, because that is certainly what it looks like to me.

My own research leads me to believe we will see pullback soon. How do you see aerl sp performing from present sp?

Doesnt answer the question at all.

What research? Where do you value the company? What multiple of earnings etc?

Half the things you say are "sp falling, expect pullback soon" but you never offer anything that (in my opinion) makes any concrete sense.

I don't follow crappy Irish airline stocks so I don't know which way this loss-making dog will go.

    hi ranger

i dont understand your comment above, can you explain your reason behind it?

im still holding my aer lingus shares as i can see in the next year they will get through the 1euro mark as the irish start to travel again.

I absolutly agree Aerl are good for 1euro + by next year, I just expect a small pullback possibly back to 0.66-0.68 range when present upchannel expires, I see aerl as a great med-longterm play as the economy slowly recovers so will aerl, GL.

Anyone else feel we will get further pullback with aerliners and aerl sp next week due to Volcanic ash issue hurting profits, what range do other aerl investors feel would be good top up sp.

SP hit a Low of 0.67 Today and recoverd somewhat back to 0.72 by close on news of transatlantic and some uk flights from ireland tommorow, anyone else feel sp will continue to trend down back to 0.60 range.

volcanic ash issues may be moving share price short-term,
in the medium term this company is still losing money BIG TIME
and in danger of going bust!

I dont know what positive news flow could really move this stock up???

I expect Take over rumors for aerl going into summer, could give gradual rise with sp after volc ash issue has passed.

    whats so good about aerlingus?
why would anyone want to take it over?

I dont think anyone other than already-own-29% ryanair is takeover candidate

all the heathrow slots with 2012 Olympics
    - can they use these to fly non-irish routes??

will AL even be still around come 2012?
