Heathrow is the closest, but the only direct way there is a taxi which would cost about 30 pounds.

Have a look on nationalrail.co.uk to see what stations you can get the train from, there's a train station (NOT Tube) about 20 mins walk from the ground. With the Tube lines and train you could probably fly into any airport and still get there, just some will take a lot longer than others.

Richmond tube station is the usual and they usually provide shuttle buses from there to the ground or as said a 20-30 min walk

dont know if you'll get cheap flights at this stage but most of the london airports have a rail link so you'd probably get to twickers from any of them within a couple of hours.

Heathrow is closest but you're unlikely to get cheap flights into it (though you probably won't get them into anywhere tbh at this stage). You'd have to get a taxi or a couple of tubes and a bus.

Gatwick might be easiest. You can get a train to Clapham Junction and from there a train straight to Twickenham I think. Stansted is miles away so best avoided.

Yep, you can catch an overland to Twickenham from Clapham Junction. takes about 10/15 mins.
