    Hi,
I was looking at getting a hybrid bike for my girlfriend, something like a specialized Vita. Has anyone any experience with the globe range of bikes in particular the vienna. I'm wondering if its a good alternative to the vita. How light are they? I don't want to get her something thats would be more similar to a mountain bike in terms of weight and how it rides.
Any comments would be much appreciated...

12.3kg for the Globe Vienna 1 in medium, according to this, or 11.96kg for the Vienna 2, or 12.14kg for the Vienna 3.

Those weights are in the ballpark for that price range (a Carrera Subway 1 is ~12.7kg), and you'd probably have to double the budget to save a couple of kg. It's more important that it all works (I have no opinion on that).
