    Ok story is recently ended things with my girlfriend of 6 years(Well she dumped me) i didnt take it well drank alot and nearly lost my job.. that was 2 months ago now..shes moving on and so am i.. i have started seeing this girl whos sisters with a good friend of mine and he would kill me if he found out.. shes also good friends with my ex.. we are keeping everything very quiet and no 1 knows... i really like her but so many people are gonna get hurt... i dont want my ex falling out with her and i dont want to fall out with his brother... i wanna to stay with her but everything in my mind is tellin me its a bad idea and not goin to end well but at the same time i really like her..wat should i do?

    p.s i live in a small town in galway full of gossippers which only makes things worse..

    Hmm, part of me says feck it, go for it. The other part of me wonders how serious this relationship could be given that you were dumped after 6 years and took it bad enough that your drinking almost lost you your job...and all only 2 months ago. I don't mean to be offensive but this reeks of "rebound relationship" and it's really not advisable to have that with someone that could lead to damaged friendships.

    If you can genuinely, honestly say that you really like and care about this girl and really want to see where it goes then go for it. Tell your friend whats going on. Your ex is none of your concern (although depending how close her and your new girl are, there may be some issues there) and neither are the gossipers.
