dell laptop drivers

    hey again
    i got the windows xp home edition sorted but i am missing drivers

    i am also missing a download manager so i downloaded the lot but cannot open them

    the program used to open this kind of stuff is not there or working,so what should it be

    is there an automatic download manager or running program i can get in and working

    please help as i can only see the screen in 8 bit which is not funny and pictures look like 4th class colouring practise

    Try downloading them from here. Enter the service tag for the laptop (it's on a white label on the base) and you'll get all of the drivers. If it asks you to use a download manager or the browser, choose the second option.

    thanks i am doing that but every time i open the download to install it opens like a readme file and no option to install appears

    Might need to clear your cookies and/or browser cache and try again.
