    Hi All

I have a second dish and was wondering which of the other satellites apart for the sky free to air one I should point it at.

I suppose the one with the most English channels would be best, what do ye recommend?

Not all though as some will be dependant on the size of your dish.

You will receive very few english channels on 19/13. BBC world, CNN and CNBC. That's about it.

If its fta your after 19e is the best I'd say.

German channels especially are of a very good standard

After 28E then 26E is next best for english language content. Several channels (MBC 2, 4, Persia, Action, Dubai One etc) showing American films/series, many of which are quite new, free to air. The one drawback is that the signal is relatively weak over Ireland, so 80cm is a bare minimum. Additional info:

    Al Jazeera News
    BBC World
    France 24 news
    Sky News
    Euronews
    Russia Today
    NHK
    RTG
    Travel Channel
    Travel Channel + 1
    Bloomberg
    CNBC
    CCTV

    Thats about it in English.
There are some more but mostly God channels and shopping rubbish.

The big attraction for me is the sport that 13/19 offers.
Unrivalled choice for football and really good if you buy an ART card.

    hey dude,

it depends on what you will be watching and what cards you are going to get.

check out liveonsat.com and select the sport you like the best then see what channels/sats have what you want. I would say you might be best with 19.
