I have Mac OS X 10.5.5 and my software won't work. It just freezes.

I'm wondering is there any other way to update it?

    Thanks :D

    What software, specifically?

ah, just found what I was looking for!

Sorry, I meant my software update thing won't work (struggling for the correct terminology here!). I wanted to update my security updates. Wanted to see if there was standalone updates. Found them on the apple site via google.

I had issues with updating a G3 once, successful thro using the software update command in the Terminal. Something like this.
