Featherlite condoms vs Extra Safe

I heard that it was better to wear featherlite condoms rather than extra safe because featherlite have more of a give while extra safe rip more easily because they're thicker.

I don't see why Durex would make extra safe if the featherlite were safer and, more pleasurable!

    Any thoughts?

In my own experience, only once ever has a condom broken during sex, and that was a Featherlite. The only time we'd ever used them. And it wasn't even anything particularly vigourous etc! It wasn't a big deal, as I was on the pill at the time and STIs weren't a major risk, but still I've never used them since. Obviously that's purely anecdotal evidence though.
