Check out this new link http://irishanimaleducationtrust.com/

While not hunting specific,it is alarming as to who is behind this latest brainwash.Yup the usual suspects..Bernie Wright, and Roger Yates, two of the main movers of the animal rights, anti hunting and shooting agenda here in Ireland..:(
For those of you who have kids and want to continue to pass on the traditions of shooting and hunting, maybe a check in with your kids school principal on wether they intend to allow this propaganda into the classroom might be in order.:eek: Schools are supposed to be neutral, not somplace to indoctrinate a political message or lifestyle.

    Slow loading site anyway.

No bother with our kid's school. They're going in telling the others they had pigeon soup or pheasant for dinner and the oldest lad is explaining the other kids in his class why he thinks headshooting rabbits with a rifle is a better than using a shottie.

On the other hand he'll be the first one to tell anyone in his class Frank the Garda will take your guns away if you shoot anything you're not allowed to shoot and why you should feed birds in bad weather.

My kids are mad for duck, venison and rabbit, personaly I teach them that it is very wrong to be cruel to any animals what ever they may be, any kill must be as humanely as possible,

My Lad in 6th class came home and informed me that his teacher was a tree hugger, I informed him that he was his teacher and to show respect. He then went on to inform me that the teacher was preaching about how wrong it is to shoot animals for sport. My fella then informed the teacher that his dad doesnt shoot for sport he shoots and eats them and that pheasant wearing bacon is very tasty.;) and that mallard in hoi sin is also tasty.

    Didnt hear more after that:rolleyes:

Teachers should spend their time teaching what's on the curriculum rather than attempting to influence children with their own prejudices and ignorance

Ya only really need to worry about it if the kids are in primary school. Most people in S.P.H.E classes wont pay attention they are doss classes because there are no exams.
    Good post though
