here's a strange one - my mate is having a stag with a country gent theme in a couple of weeks. so the standard tweed jacket, plus fours etc will be out in force. however i reckon it would be pretty class to turn up in a land rover defender so does anyone have an idea of where i might be able to hire one in ireland / preferably dublin?

i haven't a clue but heres an idea , go to your local landrover dealer say you are very interested in a new defender and you'd like to get a demo model for a few days before you buy one , but don't on your life say its for a stag do :D

Doubt if you'll find a 9 seat station wagon here which is what you really need. I notice SHB Hire from the UK have some Defenders hired out here on construction jobs, worth a try?

Other choice is to slip a private owner a few quid (no I'm not volunteering!) although it's dodgy insurance wise (hire and reward etc). A Range Rover would also be appropriate transport (but not a Sport, too naff)
