Hey guys I was banned from the match thread for criticising O'Leary, O'Gara and Earls (and Heaslip but I dont think they included that one )
But I thought I was completely justifiable in criticising them for these reasons..
O'Leary was FAR too slow in his passing. He allowed the French lineout to realign time and time again and his decisions were terrible. When Reddan came on there was an instant positive change for Ireland.
O'Gara was poor. He gave a hospital forward pass in the French 22, three needless kicks away in the French 22 and was missing tackles. We need someone stronger in defense and someone who runs with the ball. WE NEED SEXTON.
Earls is going to be a fantastic player. one day. not now. You could see he is struggling with experience. Making that knock forward on a quick tap was criminal!!
O'Driscoll needs to stop with the shooter defensive system. He nearly got an intercept but it leaves huge gaps which France exploited.
Cullen was magnificent today. He stole 3 lineouts, our best player by far.
With this in mind my 22 for next week
