Hi, thinking of venturing into the gaming world and buying myself a PS3.

Realistically what kind of capacity machine do I need - 120GB or 250GB? Will be light enough use.

Looking at games, thinking of getting Modern Warfare 2 and Need for Speed Shift.

Where is the best place to get it? I live in Belfast.

Anything else to watch out for or accessories I need to get?

    Thank for all the help.

If you just want to play games 120GB is grand for you

Yes, plan would be just for gaming. What else is the extra capacity used for?

120GB you can always upgrade later

You're in the best place to get it, way cheaper up North than down here, just shop around and find the best price. You can usually find good deals

The only accessory you will need should be a headset/mic for online gaming

What to watch out for...Battlefield Bad Company 2, God of War 3 and Heavy Rain and Final Fantasy XIII

Copying avi movies and music to it... PS3s can be very handy for that!

I'd say just get a 120GB for now, and you can always buy a 500GB drive later and throw it in easily if you ever find yourself needing more space

I would say that you should get the largest HD possible i think its only 50euro more for an extra 130GB. But in saying that 120gb is still loads.

You can save your movies music photos etc download games and demos onto the HD. When the movie service launches this year you will be able to download full movies onto it.

Games wise : COD4 (way better than MW2), Uncharted 1&2, Grid is a good racer.

    I'd get the ultra-extreme gamer's 200x model.
