    Hey folks,

I was wondering if you could help me. I was going to buy and hook up a 3G modem to my ps3 via my laptop (I do this at home) while at college. But this means I'll be tied down to a contract for 12 months and I already have super fast college internet which unfortunately is blocked for gaming. So the data modem would be purely for gaming ( I miss COD so much.....), however from experience I know the latency and relaibility of the data modem isn't great.....

So do I wait until next september when I move somewhere else, or will I get it? Thanks guys.

On a side note, If your bored check out my funny PS3 dismantilisation video. It'll amaze you! http://www.youtube.com/user/danishidiot2

We got our own wifi in from UPC, got it on a student deal which means you only pay for 9 months. If you find people hating your internet its a good idea, usually the internet is useless for downloading and youtube as well as gaming.

Currently we pay €42 a month between five for 10mb broadband

Now its cheaper to pay €32 for 15mb broadband for just 12 months.

Might be a better option if you can get one or two flatmates to go in on it.

Thanks for the info. A nine month contract sounds much better but I think I'll still have to wait until September. Definitaly to share it with the flat mate. Cheers;)
