This is probably going to sound silly, but recently I have started trying to avoid college due to the fact that one of my lecturers makes me feel anxious to the point I shake, I feel dizzy, and I want to vomit =[

I thought that I was just being oversensitive to her and the way she treats me, but then some of my friends seemed to notice it with her too regarding me. I have to work with her for one subject and I don't know how to get through the rest of this semester. I'm a very timid person and don't handle confontation well. Any advice?

In college you have the right to be treated as an adult. If this person is bullying you, stand up for yourself. You may find it hard at first, but that feeling will go away very quickly once you start to assert yourself.

I knew a person like you. He wouldn't stand up for himself. Then one day he cracked, and left his lecturer in tears. Long story short, it turned out that the lecturer had been oblivious to his feelings, and didn't know he felt that he was being picked on.

Point I'm making is that you should have it out with them. If you have a problem, face it in a mature manner, rather than letting it eat you alive. You don't have much to lose if you are going to fail your subject because of anxiety.
