More than one meaning

    I'm drawing a blank here. Is there a word to describe an artwork, created with the intention that it can be interpreted in more than one way?

    Ambiguous is the closest I can think of, but it doesn't really imply that there are specific mutiple interpretations.

    Equivocal's pretty close, but it only means 2 meanings. Whereas the piece I'm talking about has 3 or maybe more.

    It's a blank that can be interpreted in many ways? Polysemous maybe?
