    Hi All
A friend of mine would really like to become a bespoke tailor. Can anyone tell me where there are courses available or even if there is such a thing as an apprenticeship in bespoke tailoring?
I've had look at the fashion/design colleges and none of them seem to cover that area and dressmaking courses dont seem to cover it either!
    Any advice/help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Your friend would be well advised to move to London and try secure an apprenticeship. There are a few courses I have heard of but can't find on the net.

Camdon Polytechnic is one but I can't find out anything about it. Most courses have long work experience sessions built in so you may as well just be an apprentice. I'd imagine pay would be around the €8000 per year mark so they will need savings!
