I've officially joined the world of Mac users this morning, so I said I'd just pop by here to say hello to my fellow Mac users! I've gotten a normal MacBook, and it's the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. It's just so wonderful. I'm so excited about it!

Anywho, that's me. Looking forward to learning new tips and tricks from the forum!

Hello Faith, and welcome. By normal, you mean the white one?

also, check out the Apple Discussions. If you ordered it online (or have done in the past) then you can log in using the same details, or if you have an itunes account you can use those details. This forum is good, but the guys over there are true mac heads and know there stuff. once you log in, you choose what section you want etc etc. people mainly go there to sort problems, rather than have a bit of a chat like your OP, so I wouldn't advise browsing through unless you're looking for tips or have a problem. Looking for tips can start scaring some, as they see a whole host of problems people are having. The best way to describe it is like going to a hospital and thinking the whole country is going to die. Only a handful of mac's have problems and there all concentrated there!!

Have fun though, its an amazing world!

    Welcome aboard, Faith.

Apple have some nice video tutorials here:
    http://www.apple.com/findouthow/mac/

You should learn your way around the Apple support section as well. Use the search. The knowledge base articles contain a lot of solutions to basic problems.

Anything else, just ask on here.
