Just before Christmas I bought a pair of GP 4000s from Wiggle, giving my bike a good service and polish the other day and paying a lot attention to the wheels and tyres I found 2 small holes or divots in both tyres in the exact same place.
I took one of and put the nib of a pen against it and its almost through to the inside, there is thicker rubber in a tube.

I got on to Wiggle and they told me to send them back for inspection and if found to be faulty they will refund or replace.

    Checkout your GP 4000s.

Yup Lumen is spot on !

I've seen this before when my cycling buddy once threw the biggest wobbler over the ' holes ' in his new Contis. ;)

All tyres should have these, be easier to justify changing them more often :)

Id say the tires would last alot further than that, but with this naughties Ive got money to burn style solution, theres no choice, either way you still have holes in your tyre that the maufacturer put there
