Free webcam streaming tool?

    Hi all,
    Does anyone know of something I could install on a windows machine, that would upload the image of the attached webcam, so that I could remotely view my office from a web browser anywhere in the world?

    Specs:
    Must be automatic and run in background
    Must require a password for authentication

    I think Webcam XP should do the trick. Have used it in the past.

    Cheers, but the free version doesn't support access control, so anyone can view the stream. Shame,otherwise a nice utility.

    Probably a way of running VLC over SSH or other VPN link

    VLC does the streaming

    and use the other stuff for the secure connection
