    Hi

Am considering a short break to India in April.

Was just wondering are there any special requirements?

I haven't been to Asia before.

Is there a special visa required etc?

    thanks in advance

I needed one three years ago, back then you had to pop into the embassy and call back a few days later, If im correct it cost 60 euros or so.
The guy behind the desk was a right pompus fecker but thats besides the point.

Tourist visa will cost you Eur50. Business ones cost a packet  Turn around time is usually very quick. I had to get two visas last year and only took a few days each time.

Just know that the visa starts from the minute you get it, not when you enter the country as most visas. So if you get it today you have to be out of India 6 months from now.
