Usually any cheques for PAYE PRSI or VAT are made payable to the Collector General - was your dad doing this or making the cheques payable to the Accountant?

It's your dad who had primary responsbility unfortunately. Is the accountant with the Chartered Accountant's Body - why dont you report him. I understand that they have a compensation fund for bold accountants!!

    Good Luck
