    Hi Guys,

Just wondering what's the best type of carpet to use in bedroom. Wool, polypropeleine or a mix? I like textured carpets in a beige or oatmeal colour. Been looking at a 50/50 mix one or 100% polypropeleine with felt back? Which type are easier to keep clean, hoover or last longest? Know nothing about carpets!

    Thanks!

The higher percentage of wool the easier it will be to clean. Synthetic carpets may last longer in terms of sheer wear but suffer appearance retention problems
and shadow resoiling after cleaning. Rarely any need for the durability of synthetic in bedrooms. Cot may be a factor. Some great value in wool carpeting at the moment from € 10 Sq m upwards.

Make sure to get hotel underlay under the carpet irrespective of the type of carpet - barefoot heaven!
