    Hi all,

Ok so I am looking to book 2 tickets for Thomond Park in ether the east or west stand. I have never been before.

On the booking website it offers me 'Section 207, Row D, Seats 170-169'

Now I understand where section 207 is from the map but my question is where is row D? Does row A start at the top of the section or the bottom?

I need to know as my girlfriend is scared of heights.

    Thanks.:)

Rows do indeed start at A but from the bottom up all the way to RR or SS. So D is pretty close to the bottom of the stand. Ive never been below the double letter rows but you have a very good view of the pitch and Thomond park is a great stadium view wise no matter where you sit anyway. Enjoy the match. :)

I sat in "F" once and (imo) it's a brilliant viewpoint.

    Enjoy the game!

Go to the east terrace instead of the stand, it cheaper and the atmosphere is far superior..... AND if you go a little early you can get a spot right beside the tunnel just behind the subs bench....

Enjoy the day, Thomond is class....

Seat rows start with 'A' being nearest to front ie. nearer to pitch.

The first couple of rows in the East Stand can get some rain of the wind is coming from the west as it does 90% in TP. Also, I was in the East stand for the Munster A match and found I was bit too close to the wall to see what was happening along the touchline.

Section 207 would probably be between the 10mtr and the 22 meter lines which is hwere I like.

As suggested by D_Red_Army, I'd head for the East terrace if I had the choice.

I'd have to agree East Terrace is probably the best spot in the stadium.I've been in the East/West stands for the last few games and you kind of feel removed from the action(bar the Northampton game.) Also make sure you have a head for heights if you get tickets for TT,the steepness is something else. And according to the signs this row doesn't even exist!
