I recently interviewed Stompin' George, who has been DJing rock 'n' roll in Dublin since 1962.

For one thing, the piece highlights how many great (and not so great) music venues in Dublin have come and gone:

    The Regent Hotel
    on D’Olier Street
    The Mondello Club

    Goulding’s Social Club
    on Townsend Street
    The Magnet Bar
    on Pearse Street
    The Underground
    in Dame street.

You can read the full piece here.
