Hi,

We will be getting a pool table in next few months, I'm wondering if you would recommend buying a refurbished one or splashing out for a new one.

I know you will prob say depends on how much you are willing to spend.
The reason I ask is there will be young lads playing this aswell so do you think it would be wise to get a refurbed one so if they do damage it wouldn't be such a big deal, and maybe wait a few years to buy a new one. What do you think?

Any help would be great.

I'm looking to get a supreme winner 7 by4 table.I priced it new for 1100.A refurbished one starts around 750/800.Up north they're priced 750 sterling- not including delivery. If you check http;//www.irishpoolassociation.ie they sell them at the end of season in may.If either table needs to be re-cloth it costs 250/300 depending on quality of cloth used so I'd be inclined to go for new table.
