Med 1 / Form 11 - 2009

Morning all. I submitted a med 1 for 2009, as I had considerable medical expenses.
During the year, I was employed for first 3 months, out of work for 3, and self employed for last 6.
I submitted based on the pay I had for first 3 months. However, it has been returned requesting Form 11 for 2009 be also submitted.
As the Form 11 is not normally due til October, am I better off putting the expenses claim off until then ? If I have a tax liability for the 6 months sole trading, it probably off sets the claim anyway I'd imagine, I may even end up owing more than I'm owed.
    Thoughts ? Advice ?

    Thanks !

I dont think they will give you a refund until they have details of all of your income for the tax year.
You could file your tax return at any time up to October. You could file your tax return now and if any tax is due back they will refund it.
