    Hiya,

I recently bit the bullet and got dreadlocks :)
I need to buy shampoo and stuff to maintain them. I know about dreadheadhq and knottyboy, but the shipping is fairly expensive to Ireland. I'm wondering does anyone know of any Irish/ British websites or shops that would stock similar products.

    Thanks,

    L.

There is a company I use, its called abeni (http://www.abeni.co.uk)
The shampoo bar is £8.50 but I've had mine going on two months now and its still not half way. I wash my dreadlocks weekly. It smells great!
They also have a spray, a bigger bottle than knotty boy's but its ok.

There's another company selling dreadstuff, http://www.dreadworx.co.uk
they sell some good stuff as well.

    Good luck

once they are established you wont need any products to keep them going, and if you made dreads using products like wax i would get it removed as soon as possible as it makes the hair brittle. ive used the knotty boy liqued shampoo and it smells nice but is not any good. you can use normal shampoo as long as it doesnt have conditioner, although you can condition later if its required. good luck
