OK, strictly speaking the original PPSh-41 used a 7.62x25mm Tokarev, but I'm wondering if there is scope to, you know, put it on a bi-pod or may a pintle mounted and have if belt fed? I'm not sure if you'd need a scope on it, but its an option.

    What's the point?

The ballistics of the 9mm just aren't suited to anything with long-range accuracy. If all you want to do is just but a bunch of low-kick rounds downrange to keep someone's head down, use a P90.

    Delicious irony here. :D

See, Military has a signposted division, a place for crazy opinions called "Walter Mitty". Might be an idea to apply back in C&T

As for your idea, I came across this a few months back, might help you show us what you're on about.

Now, in fairness, there's a prototype for almost everything. You want PPSh long-range (for an SMG) area suppression or killing, you got it.
