Knoppix and browse windows network??

    Hey guys, just a quick question.
    I've got knoppix running on my laptop.
    Some windows files went corrupt and i'm trying to copy my files to another pc via networking.
    Only problem is i can't figure out how to network to another pc?
    I'm a windows head, tried run \\pcname or \\192.168.1.100 but neither worked.
    Total newbie question so any help appreciated.

    Oh i was on the network alright, ie i could get onto the internet and all that jazz but konqurer or lin neighbourhood weren't installed.
    in the end i dumped knopix adriane 6.2 and rolled back to 5.1 or something.
    way more user friendly!
